Joycelyn Dumfeh, PA-C
Born and raised in Ghana, I nurtured a profound passion for healthcare and science from a young age. After relocating to the United States, I pursued my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Toledo. During my gap year following graduation, I had the privilege of interning at Mitchell Dermatology, where I was first introduced to clinical medicine and ignited a desire to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant.
This transformative experience shaped my path, leading me to complete my Master’s degree in the Physician Assistant program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. In June 2025, I achieved a significant milestone by becoming board-certified as a Physician Assistant. I am thrilled to announce that I have joined the Mitchell Dermatology team, this time as a provider.
During my leisure time, I engage in a variety of activities that provide me with a sense of fulfilment. I enjoy running, attending music festivals, experimenting with new recipes in my kitchen, caring for my beloved dog Skylar, and embarking on travel adventures to explore unfamiliar destinations.
